Crispy Smashed Potatoes

Ingredients: Mise En Place

Baby Yellow Potatoes

Olive oil

Rosemary

Sage

Parsley

Thyme

Seasoning Salt

Garlic fresh

Directions:

Pre cook the potatoes in seasoned boiling water. Once fork tender drain and allow to cool for 3-5 mins. Smash each potato using a flat surface to desired thickness. Season with herbs, garlic, and olive oil, place in a 450F oven for 10 mins or until golden brown and crispy

Notes:

baby potatoes are best but  if you insist on large potatoes use red bliss the skins are easier to consume

use your favorite blend of seasoning salt (my blend isn’t available yet πŸ˜‰)

use broil for your second cooking process instead of bake. Crispy and golden on the outside fluffy inside.

dried herbs are fine but fresh will provide a better visual appeal (I used a blend of both)
